2023 events

We are delighted to offer two Charity garden openings and one open air musical evening this year.

Davidia involucrata (the handkerchief tree)

May is a gorgeous month in Trevince Estate Gardens.  It is bluebell time, providing a carpet of blue across much of the garden, but there is so much more to see.  Rhododendrons and camellias are in flower in the Wilderness walk, as are some of the specimen trees like Paulownia tomentosa (the foxglove tree) and Davidia involucrata (the handkerchief tree).

The walled garden, which is cultivated using the no dig method, becomes more and more exuberant as May progresses.  Soft fruit, vegetables, herbs, a cutting garden and ornamental borders are all flourishing and the blossom of the fruit trees gradually give way to their productive fruits.  Don’t miss the citrus collection.

Discover a wide range of plants in the Oriental glade and relax in the tranquil Pond Garden. There’s plenty for plant lovers throughout the gardens, and all sorts of unusual surprises to see, like the Shade House and the Nest.  Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
